FOSKETT HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST CELEBRATES 15 YEARS
Comox, BC – For many years one of the best accommodations on Vancouver Island, Foskett House Bed and Breakfast, is celebrating its 15th Anniversary of serving guests from around the world.
With 15 years of providing Canada Select four-star accommodation service to their guests, Dove and Michael Hendren know that with a good business plan, a professional approach, and a deep rooted love of community, running a bed and breakfast is a very gratifying experience.
Beginning with an article in the September 1994 edition of In Focus magazine titled ‘Rooms with a View’, Foskett House has since developed a solid reputation as a premiere accommodation in the Comox Valley.
“We always look forward to our return to Foskett House to spend many magic moments watching the sun rise and set, the eagles and hawks soaring and trumpeter swans announcing their presence. Combined with Dove and Michael’s hospitality, superb breakfasts and warm fire we arrive back home renewed, rechallenged, and with new breakfast combinations to try on our cold Saskatchewan mornings. We have caught the west coast fever and look forward to our next migration”.

Over the last 15 years, Foskett House has been the subject of glowing articles in many travel magazines, including the Georgia Strait and Off the Beaten Track. In addition to media coverage, Foskett House is also a recipient of a Real Adventure.com award for a user friendly website and a Tourism Comox Valley Above and Beyond award. In June 2008 Tourism BC accredited Foskett House with 4 ½ Stars in the Canada Select program. Jack Christie’s recent book “Best Getaway Weekends from Vancouver” featured the Comox Valley and Foskett House along with The Old House Village Suites, The Kingfisher, and Kitty Coleman Provincial Park.
“But what matters most is the satisfaction of our guests, and the enjoyment they get from their stay with us,” say the Hendrens. “We get a lot of repeat business and referrals, and it’s great to know we helped make their stay in the Comox Valley a memorable one.” Countless guests have become neighbours, relocating to the Comox Valley.
In appreciation of all their success over the past 15 years, Dove and Michael would like to acknowledge all our neighbours at Point Holmes in addition to Seiffert’s Farm Market, the Comox Bakery, Short and Tall Blind Cleaners, Nathan Holley of GreenEarth Carpet cleaning, Quality Foods, White Hat Cleaners, Water Pure and Simple.
Foskett House Bed & Breakfast and Sea Breeze Cottage look forward to continue hosting the world when they visit the The Best Place on Earth here in the Comox Valley.
