We are proud to have these long-term members as Ambassadors for the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce.
What is an Ambassador? An Ambassador is a long-term member who "buddies up" with a new member, invites them to Chamber events and introduces them to Chamber members, Board Members and staff.
Debbie Lemire
Debbie Lemire came to the Valley in 1989. She has been a Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce member, through her association with Royal Lepage, since 1994. Debbie has been working in real estate industry since 1989 and was Licensed as REALTOR in 1992. Debbie keeps herself very busy as Director with The North Island Festival of Performing Arts for the last 10 years - Speech Arts Chair Festival 2007, Chairperson for Comox Valley Association for Mentally Handicapped People for the last 5 years, Director of Courtenay & District Fish and Game Protective Association and a Rotarian of home club Cumberland Centennial. rlpdeb.com
Brenda McBride
Brenda McBride has lived in the Comox Valley for the past fourteen years. She arrived here from Victoria to begin the Co-operative Education program at North Island College, and to provide her children an opportunity to grow up in a more rural small-town environment. The College is a long-time Chamber member of 23 years and Brenda has made every effort over the years to attend as many Chamber functions as possible. She believes it is important for the College to be represented in the community, and the Chamber continues to provide excellent networking opportunities to help her identify potential employment opportunities for NIC students. Donna Stevenson
Donna Stevenson relocated form the lower mainland in 1994 to the Comox Valley for a lifestyle change. Donna is a Licensed Realtor and along with husband Bob operate "The Stevenson Team" as an associate with RE/MAX Ocean Pacific Realty. They have been members of The Comox Valley Chamber of Commcerce for 13 years. Donna is very active in the community, served on the Board of the Women's Business Network for 5 years, served as President and was awarded the Women of the Year Award for 1999. Donna is a busy volunteer with the Heart & Stroke Foudation a Team Leader. In her free time, Donna enjoys her 2 grandsons.
