Advertising & Promotional Benefits

  • Short "newsworthy items" can be mentioned in the Executive Director's article in Business Vancouver Island magazine, and highlighted in our "Connections" newsletter that runs monthly in the CV Record newspaper.  These should be 30 words or less and can be EMAILED TO US - please include "Newsworthy Item" in your subject line.
  • Members can sponsor a Chamber lunch meeting which gives them the opportunity to speak to a captive audience about their business or organization and display & distribute their material exclusively. Call Corae or Dianne for pricing and sponsorship details at 250-334-3234.
  • Reasonably priced advertising space is available bordering the Chamber Connections newsletter which runs monthly in the Comox Valley Record - contact Peter D. at 250-338-5811.
  • Special business events can be sent out to over 1000 members of the business community through our weekly e-newsletter.  Members can make their submissions here: http://www.comoxvalleychamber.com/news-resources/newsletter-items  Non members are allowed to submit business items for a fee.
  • Members have "racking" privileges for rack cards & business cards at the Visitor Center & Chamber offices.  Did you know that 40% of our visitors are local residents?
  • Networking opportunities abound at our many & varied meetings and events.
  • Book a tradeshow table at our April Business Showcase.  This event is well attended.
  • Members have the opportunity to host a Chamber Business Mixer at their place of business. What a great way to showcase your business to approximately 40 members of the business community and the Chamber staff and board. Get details on hosting your own mixer here  Note: these mixers book up months in advance.
  • Get some visibility by bringing a door prize to one of our Business Mixers or lunch meetings - don't forget to attach your business card to it.
  • Members are listed by name and by 3 business types on this website under Our Members - under the red car.
  • Members receive 2 complimentary listings in the annual Member Directory & Buyers Guide - 1 alphabetical and 1 by primary business type.
