Dianne Hawkins, Executive DirectorHawkins

Dianne Hawkins has been in the position of Executive Director of the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce since November 2004.  She has brought to the Chamber and its business members a great deal of energy and enthusiasm, a background in adult education and over 20 years of business experience.  Dianne is truly a “Valley girl” having been born and raised in the Comox Valley.  She moved to Victoria after graduation and worked in both public and private sector for a number of years prior to her return in 1989.  “Being part of the business community in the Valley is a terrific experience.  I thoroughly enjoy the opportunities and challenges of managing the Chamber and being an integral part of this community.”

Jai Farkas

Jai has been a Visitor Information Counsellor with the Comox Valley Visitor Centre since 2004.

 

GillianGillian Miller

Gillian was with the Chemainus Visitor for five years before moving to the Comox Valley in 2009.


LauraLaura Brown

A recent grad of the North Island College Tourism Program, Laura has been helping out at the Visitor Centre and Chamber for two seasons. She works as a Visitor Centre Counsellor and is our resident facebook expert.

 

Taija Cox

Currently in NIC's Tourism Program, Taija is working at the Visitor Centre for the summer of 2010.
