The Chamber holds many events each year. Here you will find a description of those events and in some cases, images and descriptions from the previous event.
Annual Community Awards - January
Each January the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce gives local residents the opportunity to honour citizens and businesses with the Annual Community Awards.
The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce has been presenting these prestigious awards since 1974.
These Awards are community-based and award nominees are not required to be a member of the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce. Recipients are chosen by the criteria and not by the number of nominations received. Award Criteria
Currently there are nine categories of awards with recipients chosen by the community - for the community.
Awards are presented at the jam-packed, formal, Annual Community Awards Gala Dinner. This is usually held the last Saturday in January.
Chamber members are invited to sponsor the awards and the event, and for this they receive much coverage.
All members of the community are invited to submit a nomination for a business, organization or citizen they feel is outstanding had has contributed greatly to our community.

New Member Breakfast - February
The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts an annual New Member Breakfast. Along with mixing and meeting other new chamber members, new members have the opportunity to learn more about the cost-saving benefits available to them, how to access these discount programs and how to make the most of their membership in general. The New Member Breakfast is normally held in February during BC Chamber Week. New members - watch for your invitation.
Bar-B-Que - June
The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce bar-b-que is loads of fun. We plan a captive and informative speaker each year which compliments a delicious bar-b-que dinner. Bring business cards for door prizes!
Golf Tournament - September
Each year the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce, with plenty of assistance from Mark & Christine Middleton of The Golfer's Edge, hosts a fun golf tournament and dinner. This is an evening of sport, prizes and socializing. It is a modified scramble game which means teams are formed with mixed skill levels - beginners to pros. The golf tournament is normally held in September. Anyone interested in assisting with the planning of this event, or donating a prize, should contact Corae Bracken at the Chamber office.
"New" Business Mixer - October
During Small Business Wee the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce, with sponsor TD Canada Trust, hosts the New Business Mixer. All new business managers/owners are invited to this wine & cheese mixer - members and non members of the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce! At this mixer, new businesses will have the opportunity to meet other new business owners in the Comox Valley, meet our board members, as well as get information on the benefits of Chamber membership.

Celebrate the holiday season with our community partners and local businesses. Enjoy appetizers, beverages, door prizes, and networking opportunities.
