Chamber Awards Gala
Expect to be dazzled on January 29th with lights, colour and sparkle! We are looking forward to putting our hands together again in celebration of the excellence that exists in business, non-profits, youth and extraordinary citizens who call the Comox Valley home.
From start-ups to local legends, the Chamber awards shine a light on hard-working businesses, business people and community leaders in 16 categories. We are pleased to introduce the Diversity and Inclusion Award this year to our award collection.
This year’s online auction proceeds will be presented to the Upper Island Women of Native Ancestry. Since 1991, the Upper Island Women of Native Ancestry (UIWONA) has provided programs and services to Aboriginal women, children and families in the Comox Valley and Northern Vancouver Island. The UIWONA Society is dedicated to providing resources for families that promote health, happiness and vitality with Indigenous culture as the foundation. They continually gather wisdom from their elders while finding innovative ways to strengthen and revitalize the village.
Support Local, nominate an outstanding citizen (young and old), businesses (small, new and large), outstanding business leaders and not-for-profits in our community.
Be prepared to celebrate and cheer throughout the evening! -- we’ll see you there!

Chamber Awards: Celebrating excellence since 1974
Starting in 1974, the Chamber Awards has recognized the accomplishments of businesses, organizations, and individuals who have contributed greatly to make the Comox Valley an amazing community. Award categories have been added and retired, expanded and revisited, but the Chamber Awards have always been about excellence and service.
The Chamber has put in place a grassroots nomination process that does not allow for self-nominations. All nominations come from businesses and individuals in the community that feel the nominee needs to be recognized. The Chamber Awards are open to chamber and non-chamber members.
The Chamber Awards are held the 4th Saturday of January each year.
