2024 Economic Outlook Breakfast set for February 8

The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce (CVCC) is once again welcoming the business community to their annual Economic Outlook Breakfast taking place on Thursday, February 8 from 7:30 – 9:30am at the Crown Isle Resort.

The event will include Keynote Speaker, Martin Monkman of MNP. Together with the Chamber, they’ll explore the demographics of the Comox Valley, examining factors such as age distribution, family structures, and where newcomers to the area are choosing to live. They will look at how the demographics and related socioeconomics of the Comox Valley have changed and are projected to change in the future, and what these changes mean for our local businesses, communities, and governments.

Following a full buffet breakfast, the presentation will end with a question period and discussion with a panel of local business leaders. Panel members will include Mackenzie Gartside of Mackenzie Gartside & Associates, Andrew Gower of Wedler Engineering and Britta Neumann of Berwick Comox Valley Retirement Community.
